• Baptism is a step of obedience Jesus requires of his followers that displays the gospel and gives us an opportunity to publicly profess our faith in Jesus. In the act of baptism, we unite by faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus our Lord.
  
  
• Baptism is after conversion, by immersion (Acts 2:41; 8:12; 16:33-34; Mark 1:5,10). Baptism doesn’t save a person; it’s a symbol and celebration of salvation (1 Peter 3:21).
