Clarifying Salvation: Justification – God Declares Me Righteous (Romans 3:21-26)

We feel guilty when we sin (and we all have sinned). So what happens to the guilt of our sin when God saves us? God makes a legal declaration concerning our relationship to God’s laws, stating we are completely forgiven and no longer liable to punishment! It’s an amazing outpouring of grace that does not rely on any merit of our own. It gives hope, confidence, and joy.
