Have you ever known you were supposed to say something, but internally you did not really believe it to be true? You say, ‘I’m so happy for your success!” but inwardly you resent their accomplishment. Maybe you’ve said “I’ll pray for you,” knowing you never will or “I love you Lord” in a worship song, but you really just love yourself and His benefits. How do we get our heart to match what we know and say is true? The Tragic-triumphal entry of King Jesus into Jerusalem shows how he wins victory for the heart of the hypocrite.
